Privacy Notice

Information You Submit

Search terms

A name or place entered in a search box passes to the outside provider that operates the tool. We do not store or log those search terms on our systems.

Messages

Emails and contact submissions are kept as needed to answer the sender. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is legally required.

Automatic Technical Data

Ordinary server logs and analytics may collect an IP address, browser and version, device and operating system, pages viewed and time spent, referring page when supplied, and request timestamps.

Cookies

Cookies help measure use and support site functions. A visitor can block them through browser settings, though parts of the service may then behave differently.

How Data Is Used

Collected information may be used to operate and improve performance, route a search to the selected partner, understand which pages are useful, diagnose technical problems, prevent abuse, and show advertising that may reflect a visitor’s interests.

Outside Sites and Advertising

Links lead to Lawrence County jail and sheriff pages, Illinois corrections resources, court portals, federal locators, and outside search services. The destination’s privacy rules govern after a visitor follows a link.

Some advertising providers may track activity across websites on their own systems to choose ads. We do not control those outside tracking practices.

Who May Receive Data

We do not sell personal data. Limited information may reach search partners processing a query, analytics providers, advertising networks, contractors that support site operation, or law-enforcement and government bodies acting under a valid legal order.

Reasonable Security Measures

Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information. No internet-connected service is fully secure, so we cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.

Visitors Under Eighteen

This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian may use the Contact Us page to request deletion if a minor submitted information.

Your Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law, a person may ask for a copy of personal data held, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion, or object to certain processing. A request must contain enough detail to locate the relevant information and verify that it concerns the requester.

Policy Revisions

This notice may change as services or legal requirements develop. Revisions will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use after posting is subject to the revised notice.
